Rainy nights and bumper-to-bumper traffic had us stuck, but my wife and I made the most of it and turned it into a mini adventure. We took shelter at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, ordered some comforting food and hot coffee, and just enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. It turned into an unexpected date night that made the gloomy weather feel kind of magical. Now we’re recharged and ready to face the road home—together, as always.
